A glass of beer a day to help women against osteoporosis

A study published in the journal Nutrition , found that the bones of women who drink beer regularly are stronger, making them less likely to suffer from osteoporosis . This is due to the high levels of silicon in the drink that increase new bone formation and retard the thinning of bones that lead to subsequent fractures. scientists questioned more than 1,700 healthy women at a mean age of 48 years about their drinking habits spirit . It was shown that those females who drank small amounts of bone were similar to those who drank moderately, so that small amounts of the drink could be enough to keep bones strong.
