As reported by Marie Claire , neuroscientists at the University of California found that emotional pain is processed in the same area of the brain physical pain, so that could be used to relieve pain . In a test that took three weeks to a group of people was given Tylenol, a drug that showed a significant reduction in feelings of pain, compared with cases in which only offered placebos.
