Breast cancer: The men face less likely to survive (VIDEO)

We are used to constantly hear about cases of women with breast cancer and we forget that this is a disease that does not discriminate and strikes both sex without mercy. And even when men have a lower cancer incidence than its counterpart, a new study found that when they detect evil, usually already in a more advanced and dangerous.

The research, published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology , examined cases of breast cancer among men in six different countries over the past 40 years. Of these, researchers could find that men had an incidence of less than five years survival than women, and the disease usually occurred later in their lives. Experts say that apart from hormonal problems that may arise on the victim, that is detected in a very advanced stage due to lack of awareness among men about the symptoms and condition. They may even have a higher chance of survival than women to be able to detect the problem early.
